Brief introduction of Chen Zhongjing
Chen Zhongjing (19 15—20 14), a native of Yizheng, Jiangsu Province, graduated from Peking University Department of Economics. Participated in the1February 29th movement. China ** * party member. War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the liberation war, engaged in the secret work of the party in Xi. 1947 went to Columbia University for further study. 1949 returned to China. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as deputy director and acting director of the the State Council Foreign Cultural Liaison Bureau, secretary-general and deputy director of the Foreign Cultural Liaison Committee, dean of the Institute of International Relations, director of the Institute of Modern International Relations, and adjunct professor of the Department of International Politics in Peking University. He was a deputy to the First to the Third National People's Congress and a member of the Fifth and Sixth China People's Political Consultative Conference. 14 July 13 12: 30, Comrade Chen Zhongjing, former vice minister of the investigation department of the CPC Central Committee, died in Beijing at the age of 99.
