Every military parade, the most striking thing in front of the TV is the veteran phalanx. From the 1998 military parade that shocked China and foreign countries to the military parade in the sixties and seventies after the founding of the People's Republic of China, whenever veterans walked in the forefront on floats, their shriveled left hand shook the handlebars and their right hand laboriously waved the national flag in their hands, and hundreds of millions of viewers sitting in front of the TV were all moved. Some veterans who are still strong will bow their heads slightly, as if to say to the Republic and the people: We have fulfilled our mission and have not failed our motherland. Now it's up to you.
But every military parade is also a group of veterans, which makes people sad. Every time the number of people is less than every time, the veterans with countless medals hanging on their chests are gone this time. These veterans have fewer medals on their chests. Time is merciless. It doesn't last for a second for veterans who have shed their blood, and it doesn't give any comfort to the audience who are in tears in front of the TV. Times have changed, and soldiers are getting old. But their spirit is alive.
There were not many veterans in the last century. In terms of age, most of the first revolutionaries were born in the late 9th century, with the largest number between 1860 and 1890. Later, the older generation was born at the turn of the century, mainly from 1900 to 1920. Standing in 2020, looking back 100 years ago, there are fewer and fewer veterans alive, but only three founding generals are alive. What did they go through? How are they now? Do people remember them?
The first founding general who is still alive today is Li Guang. General Li Guang was born in 19 14, and now he is 106. As a typical Red Army soldier of the older generation, General Li Guang bears all the marks of that era. Ancestors have been farming for generations, and the door is surrounded by walls. They have no surplus grain in their mouths, and a pair of straw sandals were worn since childhood. At the age of six, my grandfather, grandmother, father and sister died one after another, leaving Quang Hoa Le's mother alone.
At the age of fifteen, Li Guang joined a local independent camp, which was the best way out for poor children of this age. He is satisfied with having enough food and a place to live. After attending the independent camp, Li Guang became an envoy. This is his first official position in the army and the proudest time in his life. Li Guang later recalled: "At that time, I was too young to know anything and was not afraid of anything. The first mate gave the order and started to run. "
1932, Li Guang, who was only eighteen years old, was promoted to platoon leader because he bravely performed his duties and got along well with his comrades. For the soldiers of that era, although it is not an honor, it is also worthy of recognition. 1933, the red army came, and Li Guang immediately joined the red army team and became a young monitor of the 3 1 Army 9 1 Division. In this position, Li Guang completed the bravest move in his early military career.
Bandits were rampant in Sichuan at that time. Many bandits dominate the mountainous areas, oppress the people and even rob officers and men. 3 1 The army decided to do something practical for the people and teach those mountain kings a good lesson. As the squad leader of the task force, after this task was issued, Li Guang did not hesitate and immediately went into battle. Organizational think Li Guang can attend, but to obey the arrangement, Li Guang gave his own reasons:
At Li Guang's insistence, the organization finally gave him the task, provided that he could not do it alone, and he had to take the team, even if the last person went in, it was no problem. Li Guangling was ordered to make preparations immediately. Li Guang took a dozen brothers to ambush around the hut and warned them to stand by. I shot myself and walked out. When the bandits in the shanzhai saw Li Guang coming alone, they blocked his road. Li Guang is resourceful and well prepared. He said that he came to negotiate with the mountain leaders on behalf of the Red Army. At that time, bandits were struggling to survive, and some bandits who wanted to return to righteousness hoped for this exchange. Li Guang's abacus is clear: provide these bandits with the best possible conditions, give them money if they don't want to join the Red Army team, disperse those who want to join the team and absorb them unconditionally. But if you don't want to join the team and leave the cottage, don't blame Li Guang for making them suffer.
After seeing the bandit leader, Li Guang confessed his thoughts, but he didn't expect the bandit leader to be completely unmoved. Li Guang is a violent person. In a rage, he captured the bandit leader and a small bandit alive, strode out of the hut with one hand and something, and muttered to the bandit leader, "Stop shouting, there are all my people outside. If you want to live, let the people around you get out of the way! " In this way, Li Guang entered the bandit camp alone and captured the bandit leader alive. This kind of thing, if put in ancient times, will definitely enter the history books.
Because of Li Guang's heroic performance, his fame and deeds immediately spread throughout the Red Army. Li Guang, who was only eighteen years old, became a hero as a teenager and unswervingly embarked on the road of defending the country. Since then, Li Guang participated in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, and was awarded the rank of Major General of the Republic on 1955. After the Republic entered the construction period, Li Guang shined brilliantly in the field of military engineering and served as the director of engineering corps in Nanjing Military Region. In his later years, Li Guang hoped to return to his hometown of Sichuan. Today, the legendary veteran is still enjoying his family happiness in his hometown in Sichuan, enjoying a veritable magnanimity.
Compared with General Li Guang, General Zou Yan is more legendary. General Zou Yan 19 15 was born in Xingguo County, Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, and joined the local children's league at the age of thirteen. At that time, the children's group was responsible for some less dangerous tasks, such as delivering dry food, delivering letters and information and other secret tasks. Zou Yan's main duties are these. Soon, Zou Yan was chosen as the captain of the Young Pioneers because he was smart and capable. Taking other children to contribute to the country at an early age. /kloc-joined the Red Guards at the age of 0/5, and joined the 22nd Army of the Red Army in the same year, and has been following the revolutionary ranks in all directions.
General Zou Yan participated in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, climbed the snowy mountains and grasslands and walked the 25,000-mile Long March. However, his most brilliant achievements occurred in the battlefield to resist US aggression and aid Korea. During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Zou Yan was mainly responsible for checking and balancing the enemy's espionage activities. Because the US military has the advantages of air force and aviation, it often sends spies to the rear of the Volunteers, especially to the south and northeast of the Yalu River, destroying communication lines and communication facilities, which has caused great trouble to the already fragile logistics supply lines of the Volunteers. 1at the end of 950, after the second battle, because the enemy could not make a large-scale breakthrough in the frontal battlefield, they engaged in air strikes and spy wars in the rear.
1On February 25th, American planes dropped 20 South Korean spies on the west bank of Yalu River in an attempt to sabotage the logistics supply line of the Volunteers. Zou Yan immediately sent troops to arrest. These spies are very cunning. They took advantage of the night and hid at three or four in the morning. Because the number of spies is too small, it is difficult to find. Zou Yan decided to use stupid methods. He said, "There are many of us. I haven't heard that too many people will suffer. We used sea tactics to sweep the battlefield. I don't believe that we can't find their trace. " In this way, Zou Yan personally led the troops to investigate along the Yalu River, and captured these spies in less than three days.
After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Zou Yan was awarded the rank of Major General 1955. Apart from his military career, General Zou Yan also writes well. After the war, he published My Memories, which systematically reviewed his military career and life experience. In his later years, he usually loves to write poems, and even published a collection of poems and paintings, called Random Thoughts and Veteran Momo respectively. Today, he is still alive.
The third living general is Yang. 19 19 was born in dapu county, Guangdong. Yang 193 1 year joined the red army. He is younger than General Li Guang and General Zou Yan, only 12 years old. Even then, he was the youngest soldier in the Red Army. General Yang participated in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, but did not participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. But what made him shine at the moment was that he took part in the Long March at an early age.
1In June, 934, Yang, who was only 15 years old, began the Long March. Although young, Yang made many touching contributions when climbing the snow-capped mountains. At that time, the Red Army was short of materials and equipment. When crossing the snow-capped mountains, the temperature is extremely low, and in some places it is even MINUS 20 or 30 degrees. At this temperature, people will die soon if they don't wear warm clothes and eat enough. But at that time, many Red Army soldiers shared a big cotton-padded coat. One person wears it for a while, and then another person wears it. If this rotation continues, sometimes 100 soldiers have to wear a coat in turn.
In this situation, jon jonsson stood out. He voluntarily chose not to wear a coat for the simple reason. He recalled: at that time, I was so small and active that I didn't know what cold was. I told everyone that you would get dressed, so I ran and walked, all hot, not cold. Young as Yang is, he has a big idea and no one will listen to him. Finally, everyone reluctantly agreed to his request. In this way, along the way, when Yang was young, he showed extraordinary revolutionary optimism and brought countless joys and sunshine to the difficult Long March.
After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Yang never slacked off and immediately devoted himself to the construction of new China. He has served as Minister of Armored Forces Department of North China Military Region and Director of Engineering Department of Beijing Military Region. 1955, he was awarded the rank of major general. Today, he is still alive.
