Brief introduction of VX gas and soman
VX is a nerve agent with greater toxicity than sarin and one of the most deadly chemical weapons. It is also a colorless and odorless oily liquid, which will turn into gas once it comes into contact with oxygen. Industrial products are light yellow, yellow or brown, and a small amount of mercaptan will be decomposed when stored, so there is a bad smell. The ground and objects are mainly liquid poisoning, which can spread through air or water and is almost imperceptible. Contact with or inhalation of human skin can lead to poisoning, and headache and nausea are the main symptoms of infection with this toxic gas. VX gas can cause central nervous system disorder, respiratory arrest and eventually death.

Soman is a colorless liquid, with a faint fruity aroma and moderate volatility. Its chemical name is Isoethyl Methyl Fluorophosphate. 1944, Dr. Richard Kuhn, the German Nobel Prize winner, synthesized soman for the first time, but before production, Soviet troops occupied the factory. Later, according to the seized equipment and materials, the Soviet army was equipped with soman ammunition in the 1950s. Soman is about three times as toxic as sarin. According to relevant data, people can die within 1 minute after inhaling several high-concentration soman vapors, and the poisoning symptoms are similar to sarin.
