Qi Huijuan is Baishi's youngest granddaughter and his father Qi Liangmo is Baishi's youngest son. Qi Huijuan was gifted and intelligent, and showed a good artistic endowment when she was young. At the age of three, she studied calligraphy and painting and recited poems under the guidance of her father. She was taught by the disciples of the old man Baishi for a little longer. For more than 30 years, she has been working hard. Through unremitting efforts, he fully inherited the essence of Qi school art and became an outstanding painter among Qi Baishi's old people and grandchildren.

Qi Huijuan's flower-and-bird painting embodies the characteristics of Qi school art. She paints shrimps and crabs with lighter than wet pen and ink, which is vivid and interesting. Shrimp's body is bright and clear, shrimp must be flexible and elegant, and the texture of shrimp and crab joints and crustaceans is vividly displayed in her works. Its fine brushwork of grass insects is lifelike, and its paintings are well received by people from all walks of life and are treasured by many institutions and private individuals. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Qi Baishi's birthday/KLOC-0 in 2004, under the leadership of Mr. Wei, the president of Yanjing Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Qi Huijuan led many painters to travel all over the country in dozens of provinces, cities and autonomous regions, made outstanding contributions to the cause of Chinese painting and calligraphy, fully inherited the essence of Qi Baishi's art, and became one of the outstanding painters among Qi Baishi's old people and grandchildren.
