Personality assessment
Chen Dieyi's works are really full of humanistic vitality. In contrast, our generation of pop song creators are really lacking in humanistic spirit. In the past few decades, our works have served something more than purely.
His "Feng Huang Yu Fei", "A Late Bell in Nanping" and "Tears of Lovers" can still be covered, which is very telling. This shows that their stuff is a real China pop song. I can't even guarantee that my song will be sung in decades.
Chen Dieyi was active in Shanghai's music, literature and press when he was young. He wrote a lot of lyrics and plays, and many of his songs are often covered by old and new singers. Chen Dieyi's writing style is very beautiful, especially the words written for songs, which have a strong literary flavor. Not tacky, but elegant.
