There are many famous horns in Hebei Bangzi in past dynasties, among which Xiang, Cui Lingzhi, Xiao Xiangshui, Qin Fengyun, Jin Baohuan were the famous horns in its prosperous period and revival period respectively. Contemporary Peking Opera masters born in Hebei, such as Xun Huisheng of Dongguang, Gai Jiaotian of Levin and Shang Xiaoyun of Nangong, were all Bangzi actors in their early years.
