1982 graduated from the Chinese Department of Hebei Normal University and stayed as a teacher; 1985 was admitted to the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University and studied under Mr. Tong Qingbing as a graduate student. 1988 graduated from the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University with a master's degree and stayed as a teacher; 1994 received a doctorate. At present, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Literature of Beijing Normal University, director and full-time researcher of the Literature and Art Research Center of Beijing Normal University. He used to be the vice president of the College of Literature of Beijing Normal University (responsible for scientific research and discipline construction), the director of the Institute of Literature and Art, and the director of the Chinese and foreign literary theory society and the national Marxist literary theory research society.
