A native of Anhua County, Hunan Province, 1937 was born in a family of traditional Chinese medicine in Anhua. Smart and studious, he studied medicine with his father since childhood. 1957 was admitted to Hunan Traditional Chinese Medicine School. Because of his excellent performance, he was assigned to work in Hunan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was elected as the assistant of Li, a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in China. He has served as director, deputy director and director of the clinical research office and theoretical research office of the Institute. 1984, Hunan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine was upgraded to Hunan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the first president. During the period of 1996, the country ranked among the best in the evaluation of scientific research institutions of traditional Chinese medicine in China.
He paid attention to the accumulation of experience and gradually formed his own unique academic views. Through years of exploration on the development of epidemic febrile diseases, the viewpoint that the development of epidemic febrile diseases theory is not later than that of typhoid fever theory is put forward for the first time. As early as 1970' s, he pointed out the two-way immunomodulatory function of traditional Chinese medicine, and thought that all traditional Chinese medicines for strengthening the body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors could improve or inhibit immunity, and became one of the earliest immunologists of traditional Chinese medicine in China. According to his own experience, he developed Gubiao Fanggan Granule, which can not only improve the body's cellular immunity and humoral immunity, but also regulate allergic reactions. This has played a positive role in promoting the development of TCM immunology. He also has rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine, gynecology and pediatrics diseases, especially nervous system diseases, and puts forward a diagnosis and treatment system of encephalopathy with six differentiation and seven treatment as the main body, which is good at treating encephalopathy from liver and kidney.
He presided over and participated in more than 0 national, provincial and ministerial-level major scientific research projects/KLOC-0, researched and developed new Chinese medicine-Gubiao Fanggan Granule, Anshen Buxin Granule, Compound Huangshen Tablet, Shengli Shen Gong and several health products, and won 4 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards. He also presided over the National Natural Science Foundation project "Study on Regulating the Balance of Central Neurotransmitters by Supplementing Qi and Warming Yang". He has published more than 20 papers in journals above the provincial level, edited monographs such as Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Nervous System Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine, 9 1 New Prescription and Wonderful Method, Three Scholars in Books, and Essentials of Famous Doctors in Huxiang (Internal Medicine Volume), and participated in sorting out books such as Chinese Tibetan Classics and Differentiation of Epidemic Febrile Diseases.
Expert in new drug evaluation of State Pharmaceutical Products Administration, member of state administration of traditional chinese medicine Expert Committee, director of China Chinese Herbal Medicine Association and director of National Chinese Medicine Association, vice chairman of Hunan Chinese Medicine Association, chairman of Hunan Chinese Medicine Association, honorary consultant of Canadian International Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Association. 199 1 was identified by the Ministry of Personnel, the Ministry of Health and state administration of traditional chinese medicine as the first batch of famous and old Chinese medicine experts. 1992 was elected as the deputy to the Eighth National People's Congress. In the same year, young and middle-aged experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country approved by the Ministry of Personnel enjoy special government allowances. In 2000, the Health Department of Hunan Province recognized him as a famous old Chinese medicine practitioner in Hunan Province.
