According to the inquiry, Dasi Town is one of the main grain producing areas in Qinbei District with superior geographical location, rich mineral resources, large land area, convenient waterway and highway transportation and developed agriculture, and a high level of economic development. Dasi Town, named after the town people's government stationed in Dasi Wei, has a temple in the north of Wei Wei, which is now called "Beidi Temple", hence the name.
