Andre Previn (1April 6, 929-) was an encyclopedic music generalist in the 20th century. He was born in Berlin and descended from Russian Jews. World-famous conductor, pianist and composer. He studied piano at Berlin Conservatory of Music and Paris Conservatory of Music, fled to the United States from Nazi Germany in 1939, and became an American citizen in 1943. He is recognized as a conductor in the world. He has successfully conducted the London Symphony Orchestra for eleven years and served as the chief conductor of several famous orchestras in Europe and America. He is an outstanding master of film music and won the Oscar for Best Film Score four times. He is also an indoor musician, a screenwriter for Broadway plays, a music editor, a music critic and a TV presenter, and every line has achieved amazing success. He is currently the honorary conductor of the Houston Symphony Orchestra.
