Li Yeqing, born in Jingzhou, Hubei Province in 196 1, graduated from Jingzhou Teachers College with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. 1990 studied under Mr. Sun Ke, Wang Mingming Studio of Beijing Painting Academy, and 1992 studied under Professor Liu Guohui of China Academy of Fine Arts. 1997 Professor Wang Yong from the Central Academy of Fine Arts visited scholars in the research direction of calligraphy and painting seal cutting. In 2007, he planned Fengyuan Studio of China Academy of Fine Arts and served as the monitor of figure painting research class. He is currently a member of China Artists Association, China Association for Promoting Democracy and China Mural Society, editor-in-chief of China Freehand brushwork magazine, assistant to Feng Yuan Studio of China Academy of Fine Arts, dean, professor and master tutor of Hubei Normal University Academy of Fine Arts.
