Water and the sun have children,
Baptism should be baked with fire,
Everyone is happy to see it,
I fell into the water and couldn't find it.
Guess what this is? Have you guessed? Yes, it is "salt".
Salt is an indispensable thing in life. Without salt, people's physiological balance will be disordered, and dizziness, nausea, vomiting and even shock will occur. Salt has made a great contribution to our human existence. This afternoon, my father and I visited the China Salt Museum, which is located next to the 10,000-acre saltworks in Daixi Town, Daishan County.
Looking from a distance, we can see a China Salt Museum with transparent glass structure and sea salt crystal structure. Walking in, I saw a snow-white wall in the center, which read the song of cooking the sea written by Liu Yong, a famous poet in the Northern Song Dynasty. The whole poem is magnificent, which fully embodies the deep sympathy for the salt people and the hatred for the tyranny of the rulers at that time.
We followed the guide forward. "Next, let's look at the development of salt production," said the tour guide kindly. I saw the words "salt has a long history" written on the front wall, which made people feel that the history of salt is so long and far away. In the showroom, several exhibits in the glass box caught my attention. They are made of iron, naked and gray-black. The tour guide said that these two things were used by salt farmers to make salt in the past. They put seawater into a pot and then burn it from below with fire. The sea water evaporated, leaving only salt. This is the oldest method of making salt. This is called "decoction" method. The "dish drying" method invented by Daishan salt people in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty is a great progress in the history of sea salt manufacturing in China. The person who changed the history of salt industry development is my hometown, and I am also proud of it. Now salt people often use the "beach drying" method, which not only does not need to consume materials, but also can quickly harvest more salt. This exhibition area made me realize the wisdom and hard work of salt people. The salt they produce is not only famous for its white color, fine grain and high quality, but also used as tribute salt in history.
We walked on and saw a huge windmill standing in the exhibition hall. The tour guide said that the former salt people put it by the sea and let the wind drive it out of the sea. Looking at this behemoth, I can't help but admire the intelligence of Yanmin. In the salt sculpture exhibition hall, I saw many exquisite and gorgeous salt sculptures, which are whiter and stronger than sand sculptures and can better reflect the vividness of objects. There are more than 20 crystal clear salt sculptures here, which mainly reflect marine life. There are leisurely fish wagging their heads, smart and small shrimp full of vitality, crabs waving two big pliers and many marine creatures I don't know about. I can't put it down. I really want to take one back.
I have seen many familiar figures in the history of the salt people. They have made a lot of contributions to the salt people in Daishan, and even exchanged their lives for a better life for the salt people. They organized a series of salt riots against the rebels. Wang, Gu Ming, ... these heroic martyrs have brought more strength and happiness to the salt people in Daishan. I sincerely admire these heroes.
According to the information, the building area of China Salt Industry Museum is 1762 square meters, which is divided into physical exhibition hall, salt sculpture exhibition hall, craft exhibition hall and temporary exhibition hall. The whole exhibition hall shows the salt-making history of China for more than 4,000 years in the form of pictures and objects. Salt people have created a new era in the history of salt industry development with hard-working hands and wisdom. I also realized the purity of sea salt and the hardships of salt workers, which made our eyes cross the long history of salt for many years and looked forward to a more distant future!
