At the press conference of Shenzhou 14 manned mission held at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on June 5, Lin Xiqiang, spokesman of China Manned Space Engineering and deputy director of China Manned Space Engineering Office, introduced that the mission headquarters decided to launch Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft on June 5 10: 44 Beijing time.

The flight crew consists of astronauts, Liu Yang and Cai, with Chen Dong as the commander. Among them, I participated in the Shenzhou manned mission, Liu Yang participated in the Shenzhou-9 manned mission, and Cai was flying for the first time. The crew of this flight were all the second astronauts.

Shenzhou 14 manned mission is the second mission in the construction stage of the space station, and it is also the first manned mission in this stage. Astronauts will work and live in groups in orbit for six months.

During the in-orbit stay, three astronauts of the Shenzhou 14 flight crew will welcome the visit and docking of the two experimental modules of the space station, the Tianzhou 5 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft, and rotate with the Shenzhou 15 flight crew in orbit, and return to the Dongfeng landing site in June+February, 5438.
