1 and 500m spherical radio telescope (FAST) are located in Dawodang karst depression, Kedu Town, Pingtang County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. This project is a major national science and technology infrastructure.

3. Up to 2065438+August 28th, 2009, 500m spherical radio telescope has discovered 132 high-quality pulsar candidates, of which 93 have been confirmed as newly discovered pulsars.
