Li Chen was crippled by polio since he was a child. Although Li Chen can only walk with crutches, he is not discouraged. 1992 won the first prize of the national disabled singer competition and moved to Beijing to find his own musical dream. 1999, with a song "Out of the Window", he quickly became popular all over the country, becoming another famous disabled singer in China after Taiwan Province singer Zheng Zhihua.

Li Chen's acting experience

1993 Joined China Disabled Art Troupe, became a professional singer, and began to visit many countries around the world with the president of China Disabled Persons' Federation. 1995 went to Korea to participate in the theme song contest of the Asia-Pacific Decade of Disabled Persons, and won a silver prize for China. The music video "Follow Me" was shot by the Oriental Time and Space column of CCTV.

1996 filmed MTV "The First Kiss" and released a record. "The First Kiss" won 96 top ten golden melody awards for original songs of many domestic TV stations. During the period of 1997, he toured some cities in China to show sympathy for the disabled, played a role in the TV music series "True Love 100" co-produced by Beijing TV Station and singers, and sang the song "People".

Li Chen Music Studio was established in 1999, and released the classic pop hit "Out of the Window". In 2000, he filmed the music TV work "What Can I Do for You" and the public service TV advertisement dedicated to the National Day for Helping the Disabled and the International Day for the Disabled, and won the best advertisement award in the18th Golden Eagle TV Festival.
