Huang, known as the "chip wizard", is not married yet. He fell in love with his ex-boyfriend for two years and planned to get married, but it ended in discord.

Huang, 17 was admitted to Peking University at the age of 28, and became a doctoral supervisor at the age of 28. He won the 20 19 Young Achievement Award of IEEE Electronics Society at the 65th International Electronic Devices Conference held in San Francisco, USA.
