Zhang Shirong, also known as Rong Shi, pen name Shan Yang, born in wenxi county, Shanxi Province,1April, 939, is now a professor at Shanxi University of Technology, a member of China Calligraphers Association, a director of China Coal Mine Calligraphers Association, a director of Shanxi Calligraphers Association, an executive director of Shanxi Education Calligraphers Association, a chairman of Wanbailin District Calligraphy Association in Taiyuan City, and a former executive deputy director and vice chairman of Shanxi Coal Mine Calligraphers Association. His works have participated in dozens of international, domestic and provincial calligraphy exhibitions and won many awards. His works are engraved in the Monument Forest of the Queen Mother of the West in China and the Memorial Sculpture Garden in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, China. He was awarded the titles of "World Bronze Artists", "One Hundred Contemporary Calligraphy Artists in China" and "National Famous Old Calligraphers", and won the silver prize of "Calligraphy Exhibition of Shanghai World Expo" on 20 10. Edited and published "Appreciation of Chinese Centennial Epic Calligraphy" (editor-in-chief) and "Collection of Calligraphy Works of Primary and Secondary Schools in National Coal System" (deputy editor-in-chief). Published Zhang Shirong's Hometown Calligraphy Exhibition Collection, Zhang Shirong's Calligraphy Collection and Zhang Shirong's Calligraphy Prose Collection. In June 2005, Shaanxi People's Publishing House published a collection of Zhang Shirong's calligraphy. The book was inscribed by Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a famous calligrapher, scholar and professor of Shanxi University, and signed by Li Caiwang, chairman of Shanxi Calligraphy Association, and Zhang Jun and Wang Zhiguo, directors of China Calligraphers Association. Tian Shuchang and Zhao Zuoxu, Chairman of China Coal Mine Calligraphers Association and Directors of China Calligraphy Association. 8. Full-color fine print, page number 120, contains more than 100 fine works of Mr. Wang's calligraphy career in the past 40 years, including original works, running script, cursive script, official script and seal script. This is a rare collection of fine calligraphy. His works and words have been compiled into Dictionary of Modern Calligraphy Masters in China, Masterpieces of Contemporary Calligraphy Art in China, Notes of Members of China Calligraphers Association, Exhibition of Masterpieces of Fine Calligraphy in China, Who's Who in China Contemporary Art World, etc.
