Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning co-sponsored by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and Fuzhou Municipal People's Government. It is one of the earliest colleges of traditional Chinese medicine in China, a new-type characteristic college which is built in state administration of traditional chinese medicine and the only college of traditional Chinese medicine in Jiangxi Province.

The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as Fuzhou Health School in Jiangxi Province. 1986, transformed into Jiangxi Fuzhou Chinese Medicine School; 1998, renamed Jiangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine School; In May 2004, it was upgraded to Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
