A large number of experiments have proved that dog's conditioned reflex is based on unconditioned reflex, and it is the key to train dogs to use this law reasonably and correctly. For example, combining the sound stimulation of "coming" with the action stimulation of "coming" will produce two exciting points in different areas of the dog's cerebral cortex. When these two stimulation points are connected, the dog will come obediently. In the future, as long as the dog makes a "come over" sound or makes a "come over" action, the dog will come over obediently, which is the establishment of conditioned reflex. Dog training is to use the physiological characteristics of dogs to form conditioned reflex to achieve the goal.
Therefore, when training to establish and strengthen conditioned reflex, we should pay attention to:
(1) Combination of two stimuli
In training, as long as you cooperate with appropriate conditional stimulation. You can make the dog make an unconditional response.
(2) Conditional stimulation should be slightly prior to unconditional stimulation.
When it is necessary to train dogs, conditional stimuli such as passwords and gestures must precede unconditional stimuli such as pulling, dragging and pressing the dog's body, so that dogs can quickly learn the taught movements.
(3) Correctly grasp the stimulus intensity.
Only when the physiological intensity of conditioned stimulus is weaker than that of unconditioned stimulus can dogs establish conditioned reflex. Therefore, we should consider the dog's nerve type and sensitivity to stimulation, and correctly grasp the intensity of stimulation.
(4) Not interfered by other stimuli
In order to establish a good conditioned reflex, it is necessary to keep the dog's cerebral cortex awake without interference from other stimuli.
