Lao She (1February 3, 899-1August 24, 966), male, formerly known as Shu Qingchun, whose real name was She Yu, whose pen names were Xian Qing, Hong Lai and Fei Wo. Because Lao She was born in beginning of spring in the lunar calendar, his parents named him "Chun Qing", which may mean celebrating the arrival of spring and having a bright future.
