China agricultural valley is positioned as "Hubei strategy, Jingmen implementation". The construction area is about 12000 square kilometers, covering Dongbao District, Duodao District, Zhanghe New District, jingshan county, Shayang County, Zhongxiang City and Qujialing Management District under the jurisdiction of Jingmen City. According to the instructions of Li Hongzhong, secretary of Hubei Provincial Party Committee, combined with Jingmen's resource endowment, location conditions, development foundation and humanistic characteristics, Jingmen City has defined the basic concept of "China Agricultural Valley" construction: taking Scientific Outlook on Development as the guide, taking "world vision, domestic first-class and Hubei model" as the goal, giving full play to the strength of the whole city, promoting the construction of "China Agricultural Valley" in all industries, regions and directions, and striving to build "industrial valley and green valley". Qujialing, as the starting area, pioneering area and detonating area of "China Agricultural Valley", has more unique and obvious advantages. First of all, Qujialing culture is one of the three ancient cultures in the Yangtze River, and it is equally famous as Liangzhu culture and Hemudu culture. Qujialing cultural site is one of the 65,438,000 key cultural relics protection units in China. It is said that Yan Di in Shennong began to harvest from Qujialing. Secondly, the advantages of land are very obvious. On the one hand, the nature of the land in Qujialing Management Area is state-owned and the land ownership is clear. On the other hand, as the largest state-owned farm in Hubei, the region is rich in land resources, which is very conducive to agricultural scale and intensive management. Thirdly, Qujialing is not only one of the national agricultural reclamation system 100 modern agricultural demonstration zones, but also one of the only two provincial-level modern agricultural comprehensive development demonstration zones in the province. These two "signboards" provide an important platform for Qu Jialing to innovate the system and mechanism and carry out comprehensive system experiments.
Today, the construction of "China Agricultural Valley" has made a good start.
First, set up special classes to strengthen leadership. Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and Jingmen Municipal People's Government issued the Decision on Accelerating the Construction of Agricultural Valley in China and the Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Agricultural Valley in China. Organize the "China Agricultural Valley" construction promotion meeting; Established a leading group for the construction of "China Agricultural Valley" in Jingmen City, with the secretary of Jingmen Municipal Party Committee as the team leader and the mayor as the first deputy team leader; Established the "China Agricultural Valley" construction front-line headquarters with the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee as the commander; Special classes for comprehensive coordination, industrial development and project construction have been set up at the city and district levels to be responsible for the implementation of related work.

First, two Chinese and English network domain names were registered: "China Agricultural Valley" and "Qujialing China Agricultural Valley"; Actively declare to the national and provincial industrial and commercial bureaus, and strive to register the "China Gu Nong" series of trademarks. At the same time, Zhong Shi Jinqiao International Media Co., Ltd. and kotler Consulting Group are invited to Beijing to carry out publicity and planning activities, make full use of radio, television, newspapers, internet and other media, and increase the publicity and promotion of the "China Gu Nong" brand.
The third is to start planning and clarify the direction. Actively cooperate with the provincial development and reform commission, pay close attention to the development plan, and the planning catalogue system will be drawn up soon. The municipal government held a special conference on Qujialing planning and research, and made a concrete study on tourism planning and town planning.
The fourth is to build a solid foundation and boost development. According to the first-class highway standard, the construction of the connecting line from Wujing Expressway to Qujialing ("Gunong Avenue") is started, and it is estimated that the earthwork and cushion construction will be fully completed by the end of March 2065438+2002. At the same time, Jingmen China Gu Nong Industrial Co., Ltd. is under construction, and the work of assets verification has been basically completed.
The fifth is to plan projects and attract investment. The construction projects of "China Agricultural Valley" were carefully sorted out, and 42 construction projects in 6 categories were formulated, with a planned total investment of 3.822 billion yuan.
