Interim Measures of the State Council Municipality on Retirement and Resignation of Workers
Article 1 Workers of enterprises and institutions owned by the whole people, party and government organs and mass organizations shall retire if they meet one of the following conditions:
(a) men over 60 years of age, women over 50 years of age, continuous service 10 years.
(2) Those who are engaged in underground, high altitude, high temperature, particularly heavy manual labor or other jobs harmful to health, and have reached the age of 55 for men and 45 for women, and have worked continuously for ten years.
This provision also applies to grassroots cadres whose working conditions are the same as those of workers.
(3) The male has reached 50 years of age and the female has reached 45 years of age, with continuous working years of 10, and has completely lost the ability to work as certified by the hospital and confirmed by the labor appraisal committee.
(four) work-related disability, proved by the hospital, and confirmed by the labor appraisal committee, completely lost the ability to work.

The retirement age will be delayed for both men and women.
China Academy of Social Sciences has released the latest Green Paper on Population and Labor Force. According to the Green Paper, there are a large number of young retirees in China, and developing their potential is the main direction in the future.
In this report, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences suggested that delaying retirement can be divided into two steps: the 20 17 year pension system should be merged. From the beginning, the retirement age of women was delayed by 1 year every three years and that of men by 1 year every six years. By 2045, the retirement age of both men and women will reach 65.
The report also suggests introducing an elastic mechanism into the retirement age reform, and considering the legal retirement age as the benchmark, stipulating that people can retire five years in advance or later, but the pension benefits should be linked to the retirement age.
The general direction of delaying retirement has been decided, but how to promote it has yet to be introduced.
The current law stipulates the retirement age for female employees.
1, the normal retirement age stipulated by national laws, female employees are over 50 years old, and female employees in management technical positions are over 55 years old.
2. Accumulated 10 years of manual labor at high altitude and particularly heavy workload, 9 years of underground and high temperature work, 8 years of other harmful health work, female employees over 45 years old, and payment period 15 years.
3. Disabled due to illness or non-work-related, and confirmed by the Municipal Labor Ability Appraisal Committee to be completely incapacitated, female employees are over 45 years old, and the payment period is over 15 years.
