He once worked in Shangrao Military Division, Nanchang Armed Police Detachment Command and Nanchang Public Security Bureau. Before being transferred to Forestry Bureau, he served as the full-time deputy director of the Security Department of Nanchang Public Security Bureau.

Since 2004 1 1, he has served as member of the Party Committee and deputy director of Nanchang Forestry Bureau, assisting the director in charge of forest administration resources protection and management, forest dispute mediation, forest public security, wildlife protection and comprehensive forestry law enforcement.
