Resume:

In recent years, Chiu Man-Cheuk has swept across the Taiwan Strait with his handsome image and kung fu. He not only has a large number of fans in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but also enjoys a high popularity in the Mainland. Chiu Man-Cheuk was born in Harbin, a northern ice city, and graduated from Wushu Department of Beijing Sport University. During my school years, I won the single champion of traditional instruments such as guns and swords in the national Wushu competition and the national aerobics champion many times. He is still a teacher in Beijing Sport University, but he has to leave his teaching life temporarily because of too many movie reservations.

When talking about entering the show business, Chiu Man-Cheuk said, "I didn't expect it.". Since childhood, he was forced to practice martial arts by his father who loves martial arts. Before 1992, he never thought of becoming an actor in the future. Until one day when he was a sophomore in Beijing, Hong Kong director Yuan Kui went to Sport University to find an actor who could perform, and Chiu Man-Cheuk was chosen. In this way, he easily got the opportunity to perform with the big star Jet Li. In this once sensational film, he played the villain "Nine Magistrates". Unexpectedly, luck came to this guy in the northeast. At that time, Tsui Hark, the international director who was still filming Huang Feihong-The Wind of Kings in Beijing Film Factory, decided to use the little-known Chiu Man-Cheuk as the leading actor "Huang Feihong" because he was dissatisfied with the performance of the actor who played "Huang Feihong". Later, Tsui Hark signed a long-term performance contract with Chiu Man-Cheuk Sport University. Thus came a series of works by Tsui Hark, such as the movie Huang Feihong-Dragon City Warrior, Green Snake, Man-Han Banquet, Broken Knife and TV series Huang Feihong.

After her debut, Chiu Man-Cheuk mainly appeared in Hong Kong and Taiwan martial arts films. In the past two years, he began to pay attention to Chinese mainland, shooting the TV series Huo Yuanjia and the movie Hero Zheng Chenggong. The movie Hero Zheng Chenggong is a happy cooperation between him and director Wu Ziniu. He said that as a mainland actor, he hopes to have more cooperation with mainland producers and directors in the future, and more works will be dedicated to mainland audiences.

Tsui Hark filmed the fourth episode of The Wind of the King of Huang Feihong and the fifth episode of The King of Huang Feihong for hegemony with Chiu Man-Cheuk. The former is a companion piece of The Lion King, which tells the story that Huang Feihong was invited by Nalan Chengdu, Prince of Ying Aiguo, to participate in the Lion King Competition held by the G8. Although he won a great victory in the game, he still saved the country and finally left sadly. The latter tells the legendary experience that Huang Feihong and his entourage fought against the pirate Zhang Baozai on their way out of Beijing.

Chiu Man-Cheuk's reappearance in Huang Feihong attracted great attention from the entertainment circle, but both films starring Chiu Man-Cheuk failed. Although Chiu Man-Cheuk's martial arts movements have been innovated with their own characteristics and become more elegant, perhaps people have not really accepted him as Huang Feihong and are not enthusiastic.

Tsui Hark didn't lose heart because of this. A few years later, he launched a TV series "New Biography of Huang Feihong" starring Chiu Man-Cheuk, which was divided into five chapters, namely, Eight Kings, Shaolin Story, Headless General, Revolution of 1911 and Ideal Era. In these familiar faces, except for my 13th aunt Shao Meiqi, all the others are the same people. This time Tsui Hark made a movie and a TV series. The production is extremely meticulous and the effect is very good. Chiu Man-Cheuk finally won the trust and favor of the vast number of film and television fans and became the best candidate for the latest generation to play Huang Feihong.
