"imperial academy has a Female Disciple" is jointly produced by Penguin Film, Yuekai Entertainment, Motie Entertainment and Linghe Culture, directed by Xu Peishan, starring lin li, Li Qiong, screenwriter, Zhao Lusi and Xu Kaicheng, starring An Yongchang and Li, and starring Zhang Yue.

The play is adapted from a popular youth campus novel written by Hua Qianci. It tells the story that Sangqi, the only daughter of Sanggong, the great Sima, decided to enter imperial academy in order to complete the gambling contract, and became a classmate with Zhuo and other teenagers who were childhood friends, becoming the only female disciple in the history of imperial academy.
