Later, he served as director of education in Wuchang Normal College. Influenced by Chen Tanqiu, Qian gradually broke through the cage of saving the country through education, widely read various political books and began to accept Marxism. 1924, introduced by Dong and Chen Tanqiu to join China. Soon, according to the party's decision, Qian joined the Kuomintang in his personal capacity, helped Dong to set up the Kuomintang Hubei Temporary Party Department, was elected as the Kuomintang Hubei Provincial Executive Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department, and presided over Wuhan Review. Dong and other five people attended the Second National Congress of the Kuomintang held in Guangzhou. After returning to Han, they fully assisted Dong and did a lot of leadership work to support the Northern Expeditionary Army in conquering Wuchang. 1927 65438+ 10, the fourth Hubei congress of Kuomintang was held in Wuchang. Qian was one of the seven members of the presidium of the Congress, and was later elected as a member of the Standing Committee. Since 1932, Qian has been employed as a professor by Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and Jinan University through the contact of the CPC, teaching the diplomatic history of China and the principles of modern education. In addition, he published nearly 100 papers in journals such as World Knowledge, and was later compiled into books such as The World in an Emergency and China, Europe under the Wings of the God of War, and The Pacific Ocean Problem with White Waves. In these papers, Qian brilliantly analyzed the development of the international situation with the "scalpel of social science" of Marxism, and exposed the aggression conspiracy of Germany, Italy and Japan fascists. Dong praised these works as "not only the first-class papers in China, but also the first-class papers in the world". During this period, Qian, Zhou Yang, Yang Hansheng and others led the secret organization of the Party in Shanghai cultural circles. 1936 to 1937, served as party secretary of the China Federation of Social Scientists, member of the China Left-wing Cultural Federation and secretary of the Friends of the Soviet Union. He also organized the National Salvation Federation with Zou Taofen and others. Through these organizations, we unite left-wing intellectuals, publish publications, organize reading clubs and social science research groups, publicize Marxism-Leninism, and carry out cultural and educational campaigns among students and workers. After the August 13th Sino-Japanese War broke out in Shanghai, according to the instructions, Qian served as the captain of the Eighth Army Service Team, led more than 30 literary and art workers to the anti-Japanese front, mobilized the people in the Shanghai-Hangzhou line area, and launched a joint military-civilian war of resistance.
