Zhang Yifei is from Liucuntun Village, Baishatan Town, Weihai City. He was born in February 1929. 1944 joined the people's liberation army, 1947 engaged in music work. From 65438 to 0956, he worked in Shanxi Music Group, Provincial Film Studio and Provincial Musicians Association. He has published more than 500 vocal works, 50 instrumental works and 5 opera music.

Representative works include: solo "Building a high irrigation station by the river", female duet "I love a beautiful heart", male trio "How glorious the coal workers are", children's chorus "Shanxi in Spring" and chorus "Praise of the Coal Sea". Published music works such as How to Conduct Singing and Two-part Writing.
