About adjustment
1. Students who haven't made any outstanding performance in college for four years simply don't have any capital, few scholarships, no scores on their transcripts, not many projects and experiments, let alone papers, and their postgraduate entrance examination results are not so good. Undergraduate students come from non-2 1 1 colleges, so it is difficult to transfer to any good school (with a few related exceptions).
Please judge from the first time you see the score. Is it possible to enter the second interview? If you can't judge, please call the admissions office directly. As long as you are not sure to enter the second interview with 100%, please start adjustment immediately.
Don't just wait there for the score line, naively thinking that the adjustment war starts from the score line. All wet. Most colleges and universities can estimate the enrollment and online status of the school before the score line comes out, but before the score line comes out, it is impossible for the school to disclose whether there are vacancies in the school, although the enrollment colleges have a general idea.
4. Contact the transfer before the score comes out, not to let the recruiter give you a positive or negative answer, but to impress the recruiter and know that there is a person like you who needs to be transferred to their school, so that once there is a quota, the recruiter can think of you first.
Please don't scratch your eyebrows and beard. For students who have good grades and a little capital during college, there is a bottom line for adjustment. Don't touch institutions that are too rubbish. Not worthy of an excellent past. Don't waste time. As for what kind of school is called garbage, you have to think for yourself, and there is a bottom line in your heart. For students who don't have much money and don't do well in the exam, it is recommended to contact all the institutions that can be contacted as soon as possible, but the requirements are not too high.
6. Please delimit the scope of key institutions when transferring. In short, there may be institutions with loopholes to drill. Students with a little capital should pay attention to 1. The institution you apply for (to see if there is any possibility of transferring from school) and your alma mater (the alma mater generally does not dislike its students, as long as there are places). 2. Not bad schools in the central and western regions, such as Lanzhou University, Northwest A&F University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and so on. 3. Paying attention to the science majors of the liberal arts colleges of typical famous schools and the liberal arts majors of typical science colleges is easy to attract dissatisfaction, such as the science majors of Renmin University of China. 4. For general candidates, I can only tell you that normal colleges in agricultural and forestry colleges are likely to accept transfer students.
7. Please relax your major when adjusting. As long as it is related to your major, it is not necessary to be exactly the same, which will increase your choices. For example, candidates majoring in chemical engineering can consider applied chemistry, biochemistry, environment, pharmacy, materials and even some science majors when adjusting.
Please don't ask me how to find the contact information of the graduate school. This kind of problem is terrible for you who need to adjust urgently. For the adjustment of key institutions, please go directly to the research and recruitment network of other schools.
9. Resume must be done. It is recommended to use the form of table. You can put the scanned copies of transcripts, award certificates, CET-4 and CET-6 and other materials that can prove your Excellence at the back of your resume. Resume content should be complete (there should be a column of postgraduate entrance examination results), but it should not be wordy. No one wants to read a resume full of words and clutter. Please don't ask me to provide ready-made templates. There is no reason for a prospective graduate student to do a poor resume and think for himself.
10. When sending an email, the body of the email can be your self-recommendation letter, and the content must be concise. Don't write down things like regretting your abnormal performance or complaining about the unfair marking by the teacher. This is the stupidest thing to do, because in this way, no one will believe that you will be abnormal. ). The contents of the cover letter generally include: 1. Simple self-introduction, postgraduate entrance examination results (can be listed in tabular form) 2. This result can't meet the requirements of the college you applied for. You can praise your target organization in a simple sentence. 4. Show your desire to adjust. Don't use the word "hope", please change it to "pleading". Refuse to provide the template of the cover letter for the same reason as above.
1 1. For key dispensing institutions, you can call them first and then send an email to let people know that you want to dispense, and send an email according to your personal situation. Some organizations require cardboard materials, please express them, and don't be afraid to spend money.
12. Don't care about the attitude of the teacher when you call. Recruiting teachers takes a lot of calls a day. It is human nature to have a bad attitude. Long live understanding.
13. Teachers who answer the phone usually give three answers, 1. Our school has never accepted students, and this year is the same. There are no places. There may be vacancies, please wait for the notice on the website. 3. Tell you clearly that there is a vacancy and ask for a resume. In the first case, I personally think there is little hope. If you really want to try, take the tutor route, contact the tutor directly, and try to conquer one of the tutors with your Excellence and let him come forward to negotiate with the graduate school. In the second and third cases, follow the school and contact every few days to continuously strengthen the impression of the recruiting teacher on you. I can think of you as soon as I have a quota, or I can take the mentor route.
14. When taking the tutor route, please be careful not to contact multiple tutors of the same major in the same school at the same time. If one of them refuses you, contact the other one. The most likely outcome is that both of them will turn over.
15. If you plan to take the mentor route, don't worry about whether the mentor you want to contact is short of people. Direct contact, but it is best to contact by email. Tutors generally have the habit of reading emails every day. Don't call without an appointment, like an uninvited guest, which is very bad. If the tutor has a candidate, he will tell you directly. Please change your tutor to keep in touch at this time. If he happens to be short of people, please continue to befriend him.
16. When you choose to contact that tutor, please don't just choose a great person or an official with a title. The key to finding a tutor is 1. If your major and academic background are what he needs, and his own hardware conditions are good, the tutor is reluctant to give up. The first one is the most important. Please think from the tutor's point of view, is it possible for his research project to need students with your background? It is recommended to find the one closest to your major. 18. Keep a good attitude and be patient. 99% transfer candidates will be rejected countless times. Don't give up if you are rejected. Keep in touch. As long as you are excellent, there must be a place to receive.
19. Please pay attention to the above developments at any time when the dispensing system is open. But don't fill in your volunteers easily, because the adjustment system of many colleges and universities is open to a certain number of designated people (those who have contacted in advance and have received the notice of re-examination or even the end of re-examination). You filled in the form for nothing, and you can't change it within 48 hours after volunteering. Don't miss the institution that suits you best because of this. It is recommended to contact the institutions before filling in the form, and it is best to get the re-examination notice before filling in the form.
20. You may get a second interview notice from multiple schools. As long as the time does not conflict, you can go to multiple schools for a second interview. But the results of the second interview may not come out at the same time. The suggestion is, don't easily agree with the proposed admission notice of the institution you don't want to go to, and don't easily confirm this kind of proposed admission notice on the research website (because this is not the institution you want to adjust most). At this time, please try your best to delay with the school that gave you the admission notice until the re-examination results of the school you want to go to most come out, then decide which school to go to, and then complete the confirmation operation online.
