Who's Guan Yunchang?
Guan Yu (160 ~ 2 19) was born in Li Changping, Jiexian County, Hedong County (now Changping Village, Changping Township, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province) in the Eastern Han Dynasty. One of the most famous figures in the Three Kingdoms period, a strategist and a great soldier. He was honored as a "warrior sage" by later rulers.

Guan Yu, who holds a dragon crescent moon blade on the altar, comes from a civilian family. He was one of the first leading members to join Liu Bei's military group. According to historical records, in 188, Guan Yu, Liu Bei and Zhang Fei organized local armed forces in Zhuoxian and joined the Eastern Han Dynasty to suppress the Yellow turban insurrectionary. After the war, Liu Bei established the regular armed forces of his own military group, and Guan Yu became Liu Bei's main military general and served as Sima in other departments.

In 200, Liu Bei Group was defeated by Cao Cao Group, and Guan Yu surrendered to Cao Cao. In order to keep Guan Yu for his own use, Cao Cao appointed Guan Yu as a partial general and named Han Shou Hou Ting. In July of the same year, Guan Yu left Cao Cao again to follow Liu Bei after learning the news of Liu Bei. Guan Yu participated in many famous battles in the early days of the Three Kingdoms.

When Liu Bei Group attacked Sichuan, Guan Yu still served as the prefect of Xiangyang, and was appointed as a general to guard Jingzhou, the southeast gateway of Shu, and together with his ally Wu, he repeatedly repelled the attack of Cao Cao Group. However, in 2 15, the relationship between Shu Han and Wu deteriorated due to the dispute over border sites, and the alliance between the two countries broke down. In 2 19, Liu Bei called the king of Hanzhong and named Guan Yu a former general.

2 19 10, Wu took advantage of Guan Yu's army to attack the rear of Wei Jun. Guan Yu was caught between Scylla and Charybdis. On the way back to Sichuan, he was chased by Wei and Wu armies and was wiped out. In February 65438+, Guan Yu and his adopted son Guan Ping were captured and killed by Ma Zhong, the general of the State of Wu, in Maicheng (now the north of Anyuan County, Hubei Province).
