The Development Course of Chengmai Middle School
Chengmai Middle School enrolled two classes in junior high school for the first time, one in junior high school and one in senior high school, with more than 200 teachers and students. The first principal was Qiongshan Renlin.

In the early Chengmai Middle School, the proudest thing was that she lit the first fire for the revolutionary struggle in our county and created a large number of national elites.

1in the summer of 926, after President Lin left his post, the post of President was taken over by Chen Chuibin, a native of Ledong. Chen's secret identity is the Standing Committee of the Qiongya Special Committee of the Communist Party of China. At the beginning of his tenure, in addition to rectifying school affairs, he also devoted himself to the organizational construction of the party. In just half a year, more than 30 progressive teachers, students and young people outside the school secretly joined the Party, so at the end of the year, the first grass-roots party organization in our county, the Communist Party of China (CPC) Deng Zhong Branch, was established, and then the Deng Zhong Branch of the Communist Youth League was established.

After the establishment of the Party and the Youth League, mass progressive organizations such as the Student Union, the Students' Union and the Revolutionary Comrades' Association were established one after another. For a time, the Chengmai workers and peasants movement was in full swing and unstoppable. Unexpectedly, in the spring of 1927, after Chiang Kai-shek launched the "April 12th" coup in Nanking, Wang Guangwei, the magistrate of Chengmai County, also obeyed his boss's will. In the early morning of April 25, he suddenly sent troops to disarm the students in the "farmers' workshop", surrounded Chengmai Middle School with heavy troops, and seized more than 400 progressive teachers and students and off-campus volunteers on the same day. Except for thirteen people who were taken to Fucheng prison, most of them were killed. This is the "4 25" bloody case that shocked Quan Qiong! This school will not enroll students this year. After the "April 25" tragedy, the post of principal was held by Wu Xiangchun, but Wu was not welcomed by teachers and students. In the massive teacher selection movement, he fled quietly in the spring of 1928. Since then, the post of principal of Chengmai Middle School has fallen into a factional struggle for ten years.

At that time, Chengmai intellectuals formed two schools: Beiping School and Guangzhou School. What is the "Beiping School", Li Peitong, Li Youming, Wang Yongyuan, Wang and others; "Guangzhou School" includes Zeng Xiangxun, Chen, Wang Renzong, Liang Kailan and others. Both factions are derived from political factions, so they are backed by politicians. If the "Beiping School" is a county magistrate, the principal is also a "Beiping School"; If "Guangzhou School" has the upper hand, the headmaster will change to "Guangzhou School". From 1928 to 1939, on the eve of the Japanese invasion of Qiong, the principals in the city changed one after another like a lantern. The term of office ranges from one year to one or two months.

In the autumn of 1938, the number of classes enrolled by the school has accumulated to 15. 1In September, 945, the Japanese invaders surrendered, and the school moved back to Ruixi Town of this county with the government to restore the name of Chengmai Middle School. 1946 65438+ 10, the school moved back to Jinjiang Campus, and the principal Lin Shulu left and was replaced by Chen Guangnan from Botan. In June, Chen Guangnan left his post, and Xu Jiapeng, the director of affairs, acted as principal. In August, the county magistrate Zhou appointed Zhou, the chief of education, to take over, but he was opposed by a group of bureaucratic gentry in the county, and the post of principal was held by He Peiping School. The factional struggle for the position of president of Chengmai, which has been suppressed for several years, has sprouted again. 1in the spring of 948, Wang Weiming took over as the county magistrate of Chengmai, and the "Guangpai" ZTE was replaced by Wang Shaoyu. 1September, 949, Wang Gang took over as the county magistrate, and the post of principal was handed over to Wang Yongyuan of Beiping School.

Although the school struggled in the whirlpool of power struggle, it still developed.1In the autumn of 949, it began to recruit Class 1, Grade 3. 1950 In March, Chengmai was liberated and the school was closed for more than a month. In July, the people's government appointed Li Chuanchang (the former school art teacher) as the vice president, responsible for the overall work. During this period, the school has four levels 12 classes and more than 600 teachers and students.

After June 195 1, the school established two organizations: the education trade union and the Communist Youth League. 1June, 955, the temporary party branch of the school was established.

Since 1952, school funds have been borne by the state, and grants have been given to students. In the autumn of 1956, the school resumed enrolling one class of senior high school (two classes of senior high school enrolled in 1949 and 1950 have been merged into Qiongshan Middle School), with more than six classes in four grades/kloc-0, making it the first complete middle school in the county. 1In the autumn of 958, Wenchang Renchen took over as president and secretary of the Party branch. After Chen took office, he began to choose a new school site. After a year's investigation and demonstration, the original school site of Slope Village was finally determined as the new school site, and the ground was officially broken in the autumn of 1959. By 1964, classrooms and dormitories for more than 400 students in 8 classes have been built one after another. Starting from 6 1, both grades of junior high school are in the new school. However, due to its remoteness, inconvenient transportation, frequent floods and serious soil erosion, some people's confidence in the new school site has been shaken. 1964, they gave up nearly 300,000 yuan of buildings and made up their minds to operate in the narrow original site. The first teaching building in the city was built in 1965, with a construction area of 1000 square meters.

1965, Chengmai carried out the four clean-ups, the principal Ling left, the party branch secretary Wang was transferred to his post, and the hipster served as the vice president, responsible for the overall work. During this period, the school is relatively stable in junior high school 12 class and senior high school 10 class, with about 1200 teachers and students. 1966 The Cultural Revolution broke out. On June 9, the school was completely closed and the revolution began in series. 1February, 967, the school was renamed "July 1st Middle School".

1968, the military propaganda team and the industrial propaganda team entered the school, enrolling 6 high schools and 6 junior high schools. With the "May 7th" road as the guide, students began to study engineering and agriculture. The school has a school-run factory and a farm (located in Dala).

1972, Jinjiang Bridge is completed, and the north and south are smooth. So someone put forward a motion to move to the city, which was supported by all walks of life. /kloc-moved to the present site of Jiangnan in 0/974, covering an area of 250 mu, and once again opened the name of Chengmai Middle School. 1976 announced the end of the cultural revolution, 1977 resumed the college entrance examination. There were more than 600 candidates (including tutors) in the city that year, including 5 1 in universities and 0/33 in technical secondary schools.

From 65438 to 0978, the school leadership was greatly adjusted, with Pan Fuliang, a native of Qiongshan, as the principal and Wang as the secretary of the party branch. The backbone teachers in the city who were originally assigned to the commune middle school have been transferred back one after another, enriching some of them, greatly changing the teaching style and study style of the school, and the teaching quality has rebounded rapidly. From 65438 to 0982, Wang Jing, a fresh high school graduate, ranked first in the college entrance examination in the whole island and was admitted to Tsinghua.

1983, Pan Fuliang was transferred to Haikou, and the school work was temporarily represented by Wang. This year, the three-year high school system was restored. Starting from 1984, Lingao was appointed president and Wang was appointed secretary of the Party branch. By 1987, three student dormitories and staff dormitories have been built, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters. In July of the same year, Wang resigned at the same time, and Wang Tingsheng, a native of Ding 'an, was appointed president and secretary of the Party branch. 1March, 989, Wang succeeded Wang Tingsheng (Wang Diao Education Bureau). 1994 August to 20 10 April, Wu Yingtai, Wang Jiang, Chen (a native of Wanning) and Xu successively served as principals of the school. During this period, the quality of school education and teaching improved steadily. Li was admitted to Peking University with 1998 and Peking University in 2006. The results of the senior high school entrance examination and the examination are also gratifying.
