Zheng Bin, born in 1968, is a professor-level senior engineer from Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. He is currently the vice president of Zhejiang Ocean Development Research Institute. He is also a member of the China Agricultural Expert Group of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), a member of the Aquatic Products Processing Technical Committee of the National Aquatic Products Standardization Technical Committee, a national laboratory accreditation assessor, and a member of the Zhejiang Special Science and Technology Advisory Expert Group. He presided over the formulation of five national standards, five major scientific research projects in Zhejiang Province 1 item, three special projects of the Provincial Science and Technology Department 1 item, three industry standards, nine key research projects of agricultural standardization in Zhejiang Province 1 item and nine local standards in Zhejiang Province, with a presiding fund of more than RMB 10. He has written or participated in the compilation of 2 publicly published works, published more than 20 papers, and obtained the national invention patent 1 item.

The main research fields are high-value utilization technology of aquatic products, quality and safety control and standardization technology of aquatic products.
