Introduction to the film:

Ancient demons robbed the fire, which plunged Hani area into darkness, and the grain was not long, and the people were miserable. The father of Minza, a teenager, left home for fifteen years in order to recapture the fire.

Minza is determined to carry on his father's legacy. When the village elder Ruma learned about it, he bowed to him and told him that the fierce demon lived in Shimen Mountain far away.

Minza bid farewell to his loved ones, crossed the Chishui Valley, where the heat wave was everywhere, and lifted the dying old root, which showed him the way.

Minza went to Shimen Mountain, but he didn't find his father, but he met an evil Zhenshan tiger chasing an antelope. He saved the gazelle, removed the magic with the water from his hometown, and turned the gazelle into a girl.

It turned out that she was the daughter of the gods and was victimized by the devil. Minza, led by the girl, went deep into the bottom of the cave to find the devil. I took the fire back while it was sleeping, but the devil caught me. Minza swallowed the fire at once, and his body soon turned into a fireball.

The demon was destroyed by him, and Minza could never regain his human form.

The fireball returned to Hani Shanzhai, where people saw the light again.

This film won 1985 China Golden Rooster Award for Best Art Film, Ministry of Culture 1984 Excellent Film Award, and the first prize of the first Hiroshima International Animation Film Festival.
