Yang Dechang, a native of Meixian County, Guangdong Province, was born in 1947. From 65438 to 0949, he moved to Taiwan Province with his parents. In primary school, he often watched movies with his father, and he was fascinated by mandarin films, but he was disappointed later. I love comics and am deeply influenced by the glorious belief in human nature and the affirmation of human nature in the tragic ending. There are comic stories written and drawn in my middle school in my class. 1965, entered the control engineering department of jiaotong university; 1970, he went to America. After receiving a master's degree in computer science from Florida State University, he went to the University of Southern California to study film courses. He was greatly inspired by new German films, especially Hoso, because he proved that wonderful films can be made by one person without relying on huge investment. Worked as a computer engineer in America for seven years. 198 1 returned to Taiwan Province, and began to engage in film work, becoming a moral thinker and knowledge speculator of the urban middle class and emerging urban culture among the cutting-edge film writers in Taiwan Province.
