After his birth, his rich father left his mother and Qiongzhi Liao. When his mother died when he was two years old, Qiongzhi Liao lived in Yilan with his grandparents. Later, my grandparents died one after another, and Qiongzhi Liao became an orphan. 14 years old, she wandered to Jinshan Music Club. At that time, Jinshan Music Club invited Qiao Caibao, an actor from mainland Ju Ping, to teach opera in the troupe, and Qiongzhi Liao worshipped him as a teacher in front of the drama god to learn his figure and martial arts.

1990 went to Xiamen to attend the Fujian-Taiwan Opera Seminar. Two years later, I went to the mainland, where I learned the characters of Xiamen Gaojia Opera Troupe and the drama training methods of Zhangzhou Hunan Opera Troupe, which was greatly inspired. 1999 Donated NT$ 600,000, which won the Taiwan Province Culture and Art Award, to set up the Qiongzhi Liao Taiwanese Opera Culture and Education Foundation. At that time, Qiongzhi Liao, who was 65 years old, set a goal for his life-to promote artistic exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and do his best to promote Taiwanese opera.
