Li Yongyuan's Personal Works
1982 After retirement, Li Yongyuan studied and studied China traditional calligraphy with Mr. Qi Gong. Mr. Li was very uneasy about the visit of General Li, who was similar to his own age, and even said, "No, no! You are welcome to practice, but you dare not learn from the teacher or accept the old general as a disciple. " Over time, generals and masters often exchange letters and learn calligraphy skills. Carol really gave him sincere and selfless guidance. General Li said with deep understanding: "Famous experts have benefited a lot." As a disciple of Master Qi Gong, the old general Li Yongyong is also very modest and respects his teacher. When someone praised him for his "smooth brushwork, delicate pen and ink, and a master", he waved his hand again and again. "No, as a student, I will always learn from my teacher." To this end, General Li also wrote a poem for the master:

Li Yongyong, a tenant farmer in Bashan area, joined the army at the age of sixteen.

Revolution regardless of life and death, three signs of snow mountain over grassland.

The Red Army won three battles and fell, and ordinary soldiers did their duty.

When you are old, you should unload your saddle, put down your knife and gun, and pick up your pen.

When the weather is fine, the night light is on in the window, and both the wife and the painter are very happy.

Luckily, I met a teacher in Bai Yuan. Teaching me is really mysterious.

In the past three years, I have made progress in Linchi, showing the knowledge of the ignorant.

Leading the masses to give more encouragement makes them feel more enlightened and better at pointing out the country.

Work hard for 30 years from now, and it will be cold in summer.

The event will join hands to do the sunset glow and the centenarian exam.

Later, Li Yongyuan, an elderly student, gave this "heart poem" to Teacher Qi Gong. Mr. Qi Gong looked at the general's poem and thought about the cordial exchanges between the two people over the years. His thoughts welled up, spread out the paper, splashed ink and wrote such a poem:

Ji Lao's heart is red and ambitious, and his pen array is empty.

With an open mind, ask the ancient Chinese character method, that is, to be famous in words.

The first paragraph of this poem reads "Inscription for Li Yongyong". The master's thoughts seem endless. After four poems, add a long note. The full text is as follows: "Comrade Yong Yong, since his retirement, he has devoted himself to writing books for three years. He has made great achievements, and his brushwork is based on calligraphy, and his pen is rooted in sexual habits. For example, he signs his name every day. In this way, the old general Li Yongyong became the oldest and highest-ranking disciple among many students who made great achievements.
