When the nomads from the Northern Song Dynasty approached Bianjing (now Kaifeng), Zhao Ji, Huizong of the Northern Song Dynasty, was angry and anxious, and his health was getting worse every day, so he passed the throne to the prince. The prince who succeeded to the throne was Song Qinzong. Song Qinzong and Song Like Hui Zong, also a generation who lived a quiet life, never considered self-improvement. As a result, he ruined the land of the Great Song Dynasty and became a prisoner himself. Hui Zong, his brother and younger brother, his 32 sons and 22 daughters were also captured. Everyone was captured except Zhao Gou, the ninth son of the king in the field, and his one-year-old daughter. Together with empresses, nobles and ministers, about 3,000 people were taken captive to the north by the Jin people.

It was April of the lunar calendar and it was still very cold in the north. The clothes of the emperor, Emperor Qinzong and his empresses Zheng and Zhu were very thin, and they were often too cold to sleep at night, so they had to find some firewood and thatch to burn and keep warm. Empress Zhu was 26 years old, gorgeous and colorful, and was often molested by Jin Bing.

When the captives arrived at Huining Mansion, the capital of the Jin Dynasty, the Jin people held a ceremony to present the captives, and ordered the Second Emperor and his empresses, the royal family, the king, the husband-in-law, and the princess to put on the clothes worn by the Jin people, wrap a headscarf on their heads, put on sheepskin, and bare their upper body, and go to the Akuta Temple in the Jin Dynasty for a "sheep-holding ceremony". Empress Zhu couldn't stand such a great shame and committed suicide that night. Jin people also gave insulting titles to the two emperors, calling Hui Zong "loyal to the monarch" and Qin Zong "loyal to the monarch".

After the second emperor was kidnapped to the north, he was first detained in the five kingdoms city. Unable to stand the torture of the Jin people, one day he cut his clothes into strips and tied them into ropes, ready to hang himself. Being held down by Qin Zong, the father and son wept bitterly. Later, the Jin people moved the second emperor to Zhou Jun. At this time, Hui Zong was very ill and soon died on the heatable adobe sleeping platform. When Qin Zong found it, the body was already stiff. Hui Zong's body was burned in a stone pit. When it was halfway burned, the fire was extinguished with water and the body was thrown into the pit. It is said that this can turn the water in the pit into lamp oil. Qinzong was so sad that he wanted to jump into the pit, but he was stopped, saying that the water in the pit could not be used as lamp oil after the living jumped into the pit, so Qinzong was not allowed to jump into the pit. Hui Zong died at the age of 54. After Hui Zong's death, Qin Zong continued to suffer and finally died in the north.
