Qu Bo (1February 1923 ~ June 27, 2002), born in Huangxian County, Shandong Province (now Zaolinzhuang, Fengyi District, Longkou City), was a writer and executive director of the Chinese Writers Association.
Qu Bo only studied in a private school for five and a half years. /kloc-dropping out of school at the age of 0/3 and collecting firewood at home. /kloc-entered the eighth route army Jiaodong public school (now ludong university) at the age of 0/5. /kloc-joined the eighth route army in China in 0/938. During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's period, he fought in Shandong and served as company commander and battalion commander.
1945 after War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, he went to the northeast with the troops and served as the commander of the brigade. He once led a brave and skillful team to go deep into the mountains and forests around Mudanjiang in the northeast to deal with the enemy and fought an arduous battle with bandits.

The theme of "Mountain Call Tsunami" is a main infantry company that insists on fighting in a base area. This book is another novel written by Qu Bo after Lin Yuan. The novel, based on the Shandong area in the early days of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, vividly depicts the artistic image of Cao Mang's anti-Japanese hero Qiao Longbiao, and describes his tortuous and complicated process from spontaneous revolutionary struggle to accepting the leadership of the Party.
