Andy, whose real name is Yang Xuantang, 192 1, is from Meixian County, Guangdong Province. Graduated from Jinan University Business School. He has been the editor-in-chief of Frontline Daily, China Times, Xinsheng and National Evening News, and has been a teacher and a politician. He used to be a lecturer at Taiwan Province Provincial University, an associate professor at Chung Hsing University, director of the establishment office of the Taiwan Provincial Government, and an administrative member of the Central Bank. Later, he served as vice president and president of United Daily News, publisher of China Forum and publisher of Lianhe Evening News. He is currently the vice chairman of the United Daily News Department.

He studied economics and literature, and under the pseudonym of Andy, he opened columns such as Andy Column, Andy's Talk on Economy and Andy's Talk on Balance in newspapers and periodicals, which were very popular.
