The origin of poetry:
19 17, Qi Baishi came to Beijing to escape the harassment of bandits. Because of his unique painting style, he is not appreciated. He said, "My ornament, a fan, is priced at two silver coins, which is half the price of ordinary painters at the same time, but few people pay attention to it. My career is very lonely." But only four months later, he deposited 1 100 yuan in Yangdu.
According to scholar Hou's research, in 19 18, the famous journalist Hu Egong saw Qi Baishi's paintings in Liulichang and praised him greatly. He bought six screens and became friends with Hu Sui. 1920, Qi Baishi went to Shanghai and asked Wu Changshuo to book a room for himself.
Runge is the standard of remuneration for works. Older generations set rules for younger generations, which means authoritative certification. Wu Changshuo is 20 years older than Qi Baishi. At that time, he was the president of Xiling Printing Society, the president of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Society, and a leading figure in painting. Because they have nothing to do with each other, Qi Baishi not only has to pay a certain fee (Hu E's money), but also wants to please each other.
So Qi Baishi wrote a poem:
Green vines are far away from snow, and old people have no talent.
I want to go to the grave, and the three families will get off the wheel.
Wu Changshuo is an old man and a Taoist. Qi Baishi not only equated Wu with Xu Wei and Badashan people (without Brother Xue), but also expressed his willingness to be a running dog for the three families. Humble at this point, Wu Changshuo really set up a embellishment for Qi, praising: "His paintings and calligraphy are Mo Yun, good at seal cutting, and won the legacy of Qin and Han Dynasties." This year, Qi Baishi was 58 years old.
