Resume:

From 65438 to 0989, Nie Tengfei worked as a coolie in a printing and dyeing factory in Hangzhou, where he met his wife Chen Xiaoying. Chen Xiaoying's brother Chen Dejun used to be a worker in this printing and dyeing factory.

In the 1990s, Hangzhou's import and export trade was very popular, but foreign trade companies encountered a problem. Customs declaration must arrive at the port the next day, but the express delivery at that time took three days, which could not meet the transportation needs of foreign trade companies.

Nie Tengfei found business opportunities and began to help the bosses of these foreign trade companies send customs declarations, making a net profit of tens of dollars. Subsequently, Chen Xiaoying resigned from his job and focused on the express delivery industry with Nie Tengfei. As the earliest private express delivery company in China, Shentong Express has developed rapidly because of grasping the pain points in the market.

1993, Nie Tengfei and Zhan Jisheng, who were just in their early twenties, founded a private express delivery company-Shentong Company, the predecessor of Shentong.

After Zhan Jisheng left Shentong on 1994, he and his younger brother Zhan Jiwei founded Tian Tian Express (the second private express in China) on 1994. Chen Xiaoying's brother Chen Dejun took over Zhan Jisheng's Shanghai business.

1998, Nie Tengfei died in a car accident, and his younger brother Tengyun Nie left Shentong to set up Dayun Express.
