The core area of Liu Ding Scenic Area consists of the national key cultural relics protection units-Liu Ding Bohai Ancient Tombs, the world's largest Zhong Ni Dojo-Zhengjue Temple and Liu Ding Mountain Reservoir. Liu Ding Scenic Area is the best place for traveling, relaxing, summering, visiting ancient times, enjoying scenery and even religious and Buddhist activities. In order to protect and promote Bohai culture, the Tourism Bureau has made scientific plans and established Bohai Culture Museum, Manchu Folk Village and Leisure Park. In the near future, Liu Ding Scenic Area will be more attractive.
Historical story
Dunhua is the capital of Bohai State in Tang Dynasty, so it is called "the ancient capital of a thousand years, the county of a hundred years".
Liudingshan Tomb is the tomb of the royal family and nobles in the early Bohai Kingdom (698-926 AD). The ancient tomb includes two tomb areas, with more than 65,438+000 tombs of all sizes, of which Princess Hui Zhen's tomb is the most famous. Princess Hui Zhen, the second daughter of Wang Daqin Mao, the third king of Bohai Sea, died in 777 AD and was buried in Liu Ding in 780 AD. The most precious objects unearthed in the tomb are the epitaph and a pair of stone lions. The tombstone is granite, and the preface of the epitaph is parallel prose, which describes the life of Princess Hui Zhen and expresses the praise and mourning for the owner of the tomb.
The preface shows the artistic features of stone carvings in Bohai Sea, which is the first stone carving discovered by China. Stone lions are divided into male and female, and their modeling style and carving techniques are very similar to those in front of Zhaoling and Ganling in Shaanxi Province in the Tang Dynasty. The only difference is that they are a little small. These objects are the most direct and valuable materials for studying the history and culture of the Bohai Sea in the Tang Dynasty, which have solved many unresolved problems in the study of the history of the Bohai Sea and strongly proved that the tomb of Liudingshan is a historical relic of the Bohai Sea period, not a Goguryeo relic, which has great historical and practical significance. In the list of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units published by the State Council, the ancient tombs of Liudingshan are impressively listed. At present, the ancient tomb of Liudingshan, a historical relic in Bohai Sea, has been included in the preparatory project of applying for world cultural heritage by the state.
As the birthplace of Manchu royal family, Dunhua has been recognized by domestic historians. Simple Manchu folk customs can be seen everywhere. The story of the birth of Yongshun, the ancestor of Manchu, in Bukuri, and Ao Dong's interpretation of Longxing are fascinating. Numerous historical accumulations, rich cultural landscapes, scientific archaeological documents, confusing myths and legends, magnificent temples and unique wonders of Changbai Mountain have painted a mysterious and intoxicating stroke on Liu Ding Scenic Area.
