Since entering the palace, he changed his surname to Li Jinzhong, and the gifted scholar Wang resumed his surname. After he became a eunuch, he changed his original surname and was named Wei Zhongxian by the emperor. During the reign of Emperor Xizong of the Ming Dynasty, he became Li Sibing's pen eunuch, which was very popular and trusted. He claims to be "9,900 years old", rejecting dissidents and ruling the country arbitrarily, so that people "only know loyalty and righteousness, but don't know that there is an emperor."

In the seventh year of the Apocalypse (1627), Zhu Youxiao died and Zhu Youjian, the letter king, acceded to the throne. Zhu Youjian has always been familiar with Wei Zhongxian's crimes. He is very alert, and Wei Zhongxian's henchmen are beginning to fear. Yang Xiuxiu and Yang Weiyuan attacked Cui Chengxiu first, and tried their best. Liu Chengyuan, Qian, Shi and other foreign ministers played Wei Zhongxian one after another. But Zhu Youjian kept it a secret.

Therefore, Jiaxing paid tribute to impeach Wei Zhongxian for ten major crimes: first, keeping pace with the emperor; second, flouting the queen; third, fiddling with military power; fourth, having no two ancestors; fifth, killing princes and kings with knives; sixth, having no saints; seventh, abusing titles; eighth, covering up border work; ninth, exploiting the people; and tenth. After the demonstration, Zhu Youjian summoned Wei Zhongxian and asked the officials to read it to him. Wei Zhongxian was frightened, and quickly bribed Xu Yingyuan, the eunuch of Xindi, with heavy treasure, begging him to rescue him. Xu Yingyuan was a gambling friend of Wei Zhongxian. After Zhu Youjian knew it, he reprimanded Xu Yingyuan. 1 1 month, Wei Zhongxian was sent to Fengyang for resettlement. On the way to Fengyang, Wei Zhongxian still has a bunch of outlaws. When Zhu Youjian heard this, he flew into a rage and ordered the Royal Guards to arrest him and bring him back to Beijing for trial. When Li Yongzhen learned the news, he quickly sent someone to tip off Wei Zhongxian. Wei Zhongxian knew that life was worse than death. When he arrived in Fucheng, he heard the order from the back, so he and his partner Li drank the fourth watch at Nanguan Hakka Hotel in Fucheng, and finally hanged themselves together. Zhu Youjian imperial edict dismembered Wei Zhongxian and hung his head in Hejian House. Killed the guest whip in the Huan Yi branch. Wei Liangqing, Hou Guoxing and Ke Guangxian. They were all executed, exposed in the street and robbed of their homes. They secretly crowded out the upright people to prepare for the reversal of the case. Zhu Youjian also hated courtiers' nepotism, so he appointed eunuchs, Ruan Dacheng and others to do the opposite, and finally poisoned Jiang Zuo until his demise.
