Poverty is an essay written by Fang Zhimin on May 26th, 1935. The poverty text is mainly divided into three parts. Poverty is selected from Lovely China, People's Literature Publishing House, 1977.

1June, 935, Fang Zhimin was captured and imprisoned. Undaunted in prison, he died bravely in Nanchang on August 1935. His works include Poor and Lovely China and Documentary in Prison.
