20 14 on may 8th, China's new ambassador to Canada, Luo Zhaohui, arrived in Canada to take up his new post. Canadian Foreign Ministry officials, Minister Counsellors Liu Jin, Zhou, He Yiqun and the heads of relevant departments of the embassy met at the airport.
On the same day, Canada's most influential Globe and Mail published an exclusive interview with Ambassador Luo by a Beijing-based reporter. During the interview, Luo spoke highly of China-Canada relations and answered questions from reporters on further promoting China-Canada strategic partnership and economic and trade cooperation.
