It is reported that as of 20 13, there are 204 nine-year compulsory education schools in Chengdu, accounting for 23% of the compulsory education schools. In mid-June this year 165438+ 10, Chengdu identified the first batch of nine pilot schools with nine-year consistent curriculum reform.
According to the requirements, nine-year compulsory education schools should integrate comprehensive courses, activity courses and practical courses in teaching, focus on promoting the integration of subject courses in grades 5-7, reduce repetitive learning and mechanical exercises, and prevent high-level primary education from simply "junior high school". In addition, students studying in public nine-year compulsory schools can attend our school directly without taking the graduation exam.
Yang Lin, deputy director of the Institute of Basic Education of Chengdu Academy of Educational Sciences, believes that this teaching reform is conducive to reducing students' academic burden, cultivating students' personality and developing characteristic schools. When carrying out educational and teaching research and activities, schools must follow the law of students' growth, and design the cultivation of students in an integrated way according to the characteristics and laws of students' physical and mental development in different classes, so as to lay the foundation of students' character, beliefs, ideals and behavior habits with consistent influence.
The Professional Committee of Nine-year Compulsory Education of Chengdu Education Association proposed that all pilot schools should encourage teachers to communicate and use across sectors, formulate scientific and reasonable performance evaluation methods for teachers, and fully mobilize teachers' enthusiasm.
