The All-China Philatelic Federation joined the International Philatelic Federation in July 1983 and the Asian Philatelic Federation in August 1983. The All-China Philatelic Federation has 4 1 corporate members, including 3 1 philatelic associations of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government; There are 10 philatelic associations of various industries in China, namely: sports, aerospace, aviation, electric power, water conservancy, public security, petroleum, coal, seafarers and the Second Artillery Corps. The duties of the All-China Philatelic Federation are: to guide the work of the philatelic associations of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the national philatelic associations, to develop philatelic organizations, to exercise the functions of organizing services, communication and coordination, management and supervision, to organize academic research on philatelic activities, and to organize national and international philatelic activities.
According to the articles of association, the highest authority of the All-China Philatelic Federation is the member congress. The Council is the executive body of the general assembly when it is not in session, and the Standing Council exercises the functions and powers entrusted by the general assembly when it is not in session, and is responsible to the Council. The chairman, vice-chairman and secretary-general of the All-China Philatelic Federation are elected by the Council. So far, the All-China Philatelic Federation has held six national congresses.

The General Department is mainly responsible for the construction of national philatelic organizations, philatelic publicity, philatelic academic research, selection of excellent stamps, planning and organization of national youth philatelic activities and the creation of advanced cities with philatelic culture. The exhibition department is mainly responsible for organizing national philatelic exhibitions, Asian international philatelic exhibitions and world philatelic exhibitions, organizing China philatelists to participate in Asian and world philatelic exhibitions and academic activities, and representing China philatelists to participate in international philatelic organization meetings and international philatelic cultural exchange activities. The marketing department is mainly responsible for the development, supervision and service of philatelic products of major events of the All-China Philatelic Federation.
