Fan Shi belongs to Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, which is located in the northeast of Shanxi Province. Hengshan Mountain, one of the "Five Mountains" in the north, borders Yingxian County and Hunyuan, Wutai Mountain, one of the "Four Famous Buddhist Mountains" in the south, Lingqiu County and Fuping County in Hebei Province in the east and Daixian County in the west. Fan Shi covers a total area of 2,368 square kilometers and governs 13 townships. It belongs to temperate continental climate, with an average annual temperature of 6.3℃, annual precipitation of about 400 mm and frost-free period 130 days.

Wutai mountain 1

Buddhism and tourist attractions in China. Located between Wutai County and Fan Shi, Xinzhou City, it is a scenic map of Wutai Mountain, which was selected as "Four Famous Buddhist Mountains in China" and "Five Buddhist Holy Places in the World" in the 2008 Historical Yearbook of China Cultural Brand Report. From June 5438 to February 2008, Wutai Mountain was awarded the title of "Top Ten Most Beautiful Religious Mountains in China". In the series of activities of "30 Most Concerned Areas in the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up" organized by People's Daily Online, Wutai Mountain Scenic Area once again made the list, becoming one of the 30 most concerned scenic spots in the past 30 years of reform and opening-up.

2. Pingxingguan

Pingxingguan is located on the bottle-shaped ridge of Pingxingguan Village in Hengjian Township and belongs to the national protection unit. Founded in the Ming Dynasty, it was maintained in different degrees in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The peaks around Pingxingguan are tall and straight, the pass is narrow and the terrain is dangerous. It is a battleground for ancient and modern military strategists and one of the nine famous passes in China. 1In September, 937, the Eighth Route Army 1 15 Division led by China * * * launched a fierce battle with the Japanese invaders here, killing more than 1,000 people and winning the first big victory since the Anti-Japanese War.
