With the development of society, the demand for talents has a new orientation. Based on the contemporary social and economic environment, schools, as the cradle of cultivating talents, should also change teaching strategies in time, optimize and adjust classroom teaching, actively respond to social challenges, and cultivate "useful" people for the society.

First, change the teaching objectives

In the lecture, Professor Li Baomin showed a comparison chart of educational objectives. From 1969 to now, the social demand for talents has changed greatly. From cultivating students' cognitive ability, operational ability and unconventional operational ability to cultivating students' complex communication ability and professional thinking ability, the educational goal has undergone a qualitative change.

Mr. Ma Yun said at the first World Intelligence Conference: "Education must be reformed, otherwise the children chosen after 30 years will have no jobs." We must change the educational concept of "calculating quickly and remembering well", make clear the educational objectives of "what kind of person to train" and "how to train people", and further think about the contents, ways and methods of education.

Starting from the actual situation, in the actual teaching process, as a teacher, we should set reasonable teaching objectives. First of all, we should return the classroom to the students, clarify the students' dominant position, change the "spoon-feeding" teaching method, pay attention to the students' personality differences, choose the learning methods and methods that students like, fully stimulate students' interest in learning, mobilize their enthusiasm for learning, and lay the foundation for cultivating "useful people".

Second, change the way of teaching evaluation

Professor Li Baomin mentioned in the course that the "credit system" will be implemented in the next high school curriculum plan, which will change the current single way of judging students' academic performance by examination results to some extent. The school will also provide each student with a resume of "comprehensive quality file" as an important analysis material to strengthen the guidance for each student's growth. In the whole student era, comprehensive ability is taken as the standard to judge students' academic performance, and students' comprehensive application ability and solutions are further emphasized.

Through the evaluation of students' "comprehensive ability", the teaching position of "hero only on achievement" has been further broken.

As a primary school teacher, we yearn for such a "credit system". According to the actual situation, what we can do is to pay attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality and ability, promote students' individualized development, improve students' ability of autonomy, cooperation and inquiry in teaching, fully establish students' self-confidence, and change the persistent concept that good grades are "good children".
