Mengniu is a dairy production enterprise, headquartered in People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Mengniu is one of the leading enterprises in mid-range milk, yogurt and dairy products. Founded in 1999, it has become the second largest dairy enterprise in China in 2005, and the output of liquid milk and ice cream ranks first in China. The holding company China Mengniu Dairy Co., Ltd. (HKEx: 23 19) is an industrial company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Development course of Mengniu

In June 2002, institutional investors such as Morgan Stanley registered Cayman Company in Cayman Islands. In September, 2002, the promoters of Mengniu Dairy registered and established Jinniu Company in the British Virgin Islands. On the same day, investors, business contacts and employees of Mengniu Dairy registered and established Yinniu Company. Subsequently, Mauritius Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cayman Company, was established. This investment was eventually exchanged for 66.7% equity of Mengniu Dairy in Chinese mainland through Mauritius, and Mengniu Dairy changed from a private enterprise to a joint venture.

In 2007, Mengniu products entered the Russian market, realizing the first export of domestic dairy products to Europe; In 20 15, Yashili New Zealand factory was completed, and its products were not only sold locally and in China, but also exported to many European and American countries.
