Twenty-four Hua Xinfeng, also known as twenty-four winds, is called Xin because it comes from the flowering period.

According to the solar terms of the lunar calendar, from slight cold to Grain Rain, there are eight qi, one hundred and twenty days. Breathing every fifteen days is divided into three periods, once every five days, eight breaths and twenty-four times, and each time should be a flower. The order is:

Slight cold: plum blossom, camellia, narcissus;

Great cold: Daphne odora, orchid and alum in Phnom Penh;

Beginning of spring: Spring Festival, cherry blossoms, spring;

Rain: first-class cauliflower, second-class apricot flower, third-class plum flower;

Surprise: waiting for peach blossoms, waiting for Tang Di, waiting for roses;

Vernal equinox: once begonia, twice pear and three magnolia;

Qingming: first-class tung flower, second-class wheat flower, third-class willow flower;

Grain Rain: One peony, two tea buds and three neem flowers.

Master Liang Yuan's Compendium: "When I visited Hua Xinfeng on January 2nd, the yin and yang were warm and cold, and the winter was at any time, but a day earlier, there was a slight cold wind and rain. Its flowers are: goose, magnolia, plum blossom, Yang Shuhua, juniper flower, tung flower, golden cherry, goose yellow, neem flower, lotus flower, betel nut, water chestnut flower, hibiscus, osmanthus, reed flower, orchid, Polygonum hydropiper flower, peach blossom, loquat, plum flower, daffodil and camellia.
